The Midland WR-300 Emergency Alert Weather Radio features modern technology in a compact, affordable and attractive tabletop unit ideal for the home or office!

In the event of a special warning broadcast, the WR-300 radio is automatically activated along with a loud tone, a flashing LED indicator and an "alert" message on the LCD.

You can program the WR-300 weather radio to only sound the voice or siren alert for certain weather emergency messages. Those messages unimportant to you can be programmed to only display a message, minimizing annoyance.

The WR-300 can be programmed with up to 23 different S.A.M.E. codes for your county and the surrounding counties of your choice. This ensures you receive alerts for only those counties concerning you.

Emergency weather bulletins include alerts about: tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, ice/snow storms and other severe weather. Other emergencies might include: Amber alerts, hazardous explosions, fires, chemical spills and other civil emergencies.

This weather radio offers continuous 24-hour weather forecast and bulletin broadcast monitoring from the National Weather Service channel. It also incorporates the latest S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) technology, providing you with invaluable early warning information about approaching severe storms, which may threaten your area.

The Midland WR 300 weather radio features a built-in AM/FM radio, variable volume control, telescoping antenna, digital clock with calendar mode and an alarm. The AM/FM radio will also automatically end and switch to emergency mode when an alert warning is broadcast.
